Streaming guides published this month put Netflix at $8.99 to $26.99 a month in the US, Disney+ Premium at $21.49 and Apple TV at $14.99, after price rises at Spotify, Peacock and Disney+ this year.

Streaming prices have risen again in 2026, according to comparison guides from Newsweek, Yahoo and others, summarised in search results. Delima News could not open the guides themselves, so the figures below come from a search summary and may differ between services and countries.

In the United States, Netflix plans range from $8.99 to $26.99 a month, according to the summary. Disney+ with adverts costs $12.49 a month and its Premium plan $21.49. Apple TV, which has no cheaper ad-supported tier, costs $14.99 a month. Spotify’s Individual plan is $12.99, Duo is $18.99 and Family is $21.99.

The summary lists three price rises this year: Spotify in January, Peacock in August and Disney+ in September. The size of each rise is not given in the summary, and the sources reviewed do not report rises at Netflix or Apple TV this year.

The same guides give estimates of subscribers: Netflix 301 million, Amazon Prime Video more than 230 million, Disney+ 154 million, HBO Max 110 million, Paramount+ 72 million and Apple TV an estimated 45 million. These are the figures of a rankings website and not company reports, and they are of different dates, so they should be treated as rough estimates. The Paramount+ figure is also affected by the merger with Warner Bros. Discovery, which Delima News reported separately.

Financial figures in the summary include Netflix revenue of $12.56 billion, up 13.4%, with a 33.4% margin, and advertising revenue that has roughly doubled to about $3 billion in 2026. Disney+ and Hulu together earned $712 million in operating income on $5.53 billion of revenue, and Spotify had revenue of €4.8 billion, up 14%, with operating income of €655 million. The periods covered by these figures are not stated, so Delima News does not call them quarterly or annual results.

A little arithmetic helps with the price gaps. Disney+ Premium at $21.49 costs $9.00 more than the ad plan at $12.49, and Netflix’s most expensive plan at $26.99 costs $18.00 more than its cheapest at $8.99, differences that are Delima News’ own calculations from the listed prices.

The price of each service must be set against what it includes. An ad-supported tier is cheaper but includes advertising, and the summary notes that Netflix’s advertising revenue has roughly doubled, which suggests that advertising is a growing part of the business, although the sources reviewed do not give the share of subscribers on each tier. Apple TV is the one service in the list with no cheaper ad-supported option.

The summary says nothing about which Netflix plan is at which price or what features each includes, and it does not mention HBO Max or Paramount+ prices, so those are not covered.

Prices may differ from the figures above in other countries and are subject to change, so readers should check the services’ own pages before subscribing.

The pattern of rising prices and growing ad tiers, which the summary describes, is a feature of the streaming market this year, and Delima News will report further changes.
