A crowded week of streaming premieres includes Marvel’s VisionQuest on Disney+, the Friday the 13th prequel Crystal Lake on Paramount+ and a spin-off of Victorious on Netflix, with Grey’s Anatomy returning on Friday.
This week’s television and streaming calendar, from 12 to 18 October 2026, includes titles for horror fans, superhero viewers and nostalgic sitcom audiences, according to a weekly schedule published by Entertainment Now. The platforms are Netflix, Disney+ and Paramount+, with a returning network drama on Friday.
Marvel’s VisionQuest arrived on Disney+ on Wednesday, 14 October, at 3 am ET, according to the schedule. Paul Bettany returns as Vision, and the series continues the storyline from WandaVision and Agatha All Along, with the character regaining his memories and identity. The listing does not give the number of episodes.
Paramount+ released Crystal Lake on Thursday, 15 October, at 5 am ET. The series is a prequel to the Friday the 13th films, and it stars Linda Cardellini as Pam Voorhees. According to the listing, it explores the childhood of Jason Voorhees and the origins of the franchise.
On Netflix, a German psychological thriller called The Trap arrived on Tuesday, 13 October. The six-part series stars Friederike Becht as Lisa Konrad, a reclusive author who has not left her house in 10 years after witnessing the murder of her sister, and who uses herself as bait to catch the killer, according to the schedule. The same day Netflix released Tyson, a four-part documentary on Mike Tyson’s life, which Delima News covers separately.
Netflix also released Hunting Gary Glitter on Wednesday, 14 October, a documentary miniseries that examines child abuse allegations against the pop star Gary Glitter, with the perspectives of survivors, journalists and legal experts, according to the schedule. On Thursday, 15 October, it released Hollywood Arts, a spin-off of Victorious, in which Daniella Monet’s character, Trina Vega, a struggling actress, returns to the school as an unqualified substitute teacher.
Other listings in search results add to the week. India TV News reports that Grey’s Anatomy begins its 23rd season on Friday, 16 October, and that Netflix releases the film Sacrifice on the same day, which Delima News covers in a separate article. An India TV report also mentions a reality show, Roadies Rebirth, on Netflix on 16 October.
The schedule shows how the services are using familiar titles. Three of the week’s major releases, VisionQuest, Crystal Lake and Hollywood Arts, continue or extend existing franchises, while The Trap is an original thriller. The sources reviewed do not give viewing figures, so it is too early to judge the reception.
The release times reflect the platforms’ habits. Netflix releases at 3 am ET, Disney+ also at 3 am ET and Paramount+ at 5 am ET, according to the schedule, so viewers on the West Coast of the United States can watch before the morning begins, and viewers in other time zones see them at different hours.
The list is a guide to the main premieres and not a full schedule, and listings can change. Viewers should check each service for the exact availability in their region.
