Marco Bezzecchi won the Indonesian Grand Prix in an all-Aprilia podium, and third place was enough for Jorge Martín to retake the MotoGP championship lead from Marc Márquez. Two points separate them with five race weekends to go.
Marco Bezzecchi won the Indonesian Grand Prix at the Mandalika circuit on Sunday, October 11, Al Jazeera reported, citing AFP.
Aprilia riders filled all three places on the podium.

How the Race Was Won
Fernández started from the first pole position of his career and held off Bezzecchi through the early part of the 27-lap race. Bezzecchi, who started alongside him, made his move in the final third.
“It’s amazing, I’m very, very happy,” said Bezzecchi, whose last win was in May. “It was a nice battle with Raúl and I think me and all my team deserve a result like this.”
Fernández was riding with two fractured fingers, an injury from Saturday’s sprint, in which he and Bezzecchi collided and crashed.
The Lead Changes Twice in a Weekend
Márquez, the reigning seven-time world champion, won Saturday’s sprint and took the championship lead from Martín for the first time.
A day later it changed back. Martín lost several places at the start but worked his way up to third, while Márquez could manage only sixth.
“I did the maximum,” Martín said. “At the start I lost a lot of positions but tried to be calm and was overtaking riders step by step. We are still in the fight and still in the lead.”
What Comes Next
The championship moves to Australia in a fortnight, with Martín holding the narrowest of leads.
